When using the electronic signature, the signature function must be blocked separately if the ID card is lost or stolen. This blocking is carried out directly by the provider from whom the signature certificate was purchased. Alternatively, the blocking can also be carried out at the BürgerServiceCenters of the Bürgeramt.
