Has your ID card been lost or expired and do you need a new one? Then you can apply for a temporary ID card at the Citizens' Office.
In order to bridge the time until the identity card is issued, the citizens' offices can issue a temporary identity card if required.
A temporary ID card can be issued for a maximum period of validity of three months and cannot be extended. The temporary ID card is issued immediately. The photo must not be older than 6 months. The application is only possible with an agreed appointment.
