In principle, the practice of law requires admission to the Hanseatic Bar Association in Bremen pursuant to Section 59f (1) BRAO.

No admission is required for partnerships in which there is no limitation of liability of natural persons and to which only lawyers or members of one of the professions mentioned in Section 59c (1) sentence 1 no. 1 belong as partners and as members of the management and supervisory bodies.

A voluntary application for admission may be filed.

• Proof of professional liability insurance or a provisional confirmation of coverage
• Excerpt from the register depending on the legal form of the partnership/commercial register
• Depending on the applicant:in and constellation, further documents (cf. p. 3 of the application form)

The professional practice company, its shareholders and the members of the management and supervisory bodies must meet the requirements of Sections 59b, 59c, 59d (5), 59i, 59j BRAO.

Submit the completed application with all required documents via the beA or in writing to the Hanseatic Bar Association Bremen and transfer the applicable fees.
