Permits for installations of a certain type or scope can be issued in a simplified procedure. In these cases, the procedure is carried out without public participation.

You will receive a permit if you fulfill the obligations under the Federal Immission Control Act and the project does not conflict with any other public law regulations.

The cases in which a simplified approval procedure is possible can be found in the legal basis.

• You must prove that you will comply with the obligations of the Federal Immission Control Act when constructing and operating a plant.
• No other public law regulations or occupational health and safety concerns stand in the way of the project.

• You sign and submit the above documents to the authority
• The competent authority confirms receipt of the documents and informs you which additional documents it needs to assess the requirements.
• You can only start work on your project once you have received the permit.
