You can register the collection of your residual waste from your private household and other disposal waste from other areas of origin if your public waste disposal company offers this service.
The disposal of residual waste from private households and other disposal waste from other sources is the responsibility of the public waste management authorities.
Residual waste is, for example:
- All materials that cannot be recycled and are not hazardous waste.
- Waste which, due to its contamination, cannot be assigned to a type of waste to be collected separately, such as waste paper.
Further requirements:
- The property must be located in Bremerhaven
- You must be the owner or property manager
The disposal of residual waste is regulated in the individual statutes of the public waste disposal authorities. This also includes information about
- existing collection and delivery systems for residual waste,
- the waste fees,
- the waste calendar (collection intervals) and
- the waste containers (prescribed size of waste containers, ordering options).
Online:
- The applications for a new registration, deregistration of a residual waste container, a change of ownership or a container exchange can be found under "Forms". You can send the completed application electronically to the responsible office.
With the help of the collection calendar, you can see when your garbage cans are emptied by entering your street and house number.
