Zulassung zur Falknerprüfung beantragen

Before you can apply for a falconry license, you must have passed a limited hunter's test or a falconry test in addition to the hunter's test.

If you wish to hunt in Germany, you will need a falconry hunting license in your name.

The first issue of a falconry hunting license is dependent on you having passed a limited hunting test or a falconry test in addition to the hunting test.

Minors must have reached the age of 15 by the start of the examination and a written declaration of consent from their legal representative is required for admission.

Upon admission, proof of participation in falconry training or, in the case of examination preparation outside Thuringia, proof of equivalent training must be provided, whereby the decision on equivalence is the responsibility of the examination authority.

The usual examination fees according to the administrative cost regulations apply.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

• If you submit the application in writing, complete it and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
• The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
• The examination authority decides on admission to the examination and on the participation in the examination of admitted applicants who make up or repeat parts of the examination or an examination.

Applicants for the examination must register in writing with the examination authority at least four weeks before the scheduled start of the examination.
