You need a traveling trade card for a traveling trade. You can change or extend the activities listed on the itinerant trade license with the competent authority.

If you are active as a showman, "flying trader" or owner of a market stall, i.e. if you offer your services or goods at constantly changing locations, you are operating a traveling trade. To do this, you need a traveling trade license.

You can change or add to the activities listed on the traveling trade card at the competent authority.

• Identity card or passport
• Travel trade card

• Extract from the commercial, association or cooperative register, if applicable
• Certificate of good conduct/extract from the central trade register, if applicable
• Trade license, if applicable
• Proof of liability insurance for showmen, if applicable

You must already be in possession of a travel trade license.

Fees are charged in accordance with the state ordinance on fees.

You can apply for the subsequent inclusion, amendment and supplementation of conditions on your traveling trade license at your municipal or city administration. To do this, contact the municipality or city administration in which you have your habitual residence or in which the future business will be based.

The processing time is approx. 1 - 3 weeks if all documents are complete.
