You can take part in a training course with the competent authority or have yourself recognised as an examination and certification body.
For certain work on e.g. refrigeration or air conditioning systems, certificates of competence are required for the personnel carrying out the work. These certificates are issued after passing the exam. Companies wishing to carry out tests or issue certificates must be recognised by the competent authority.
They have the appropriate resources, materials and personnel to conduct training events, take examinations and issue certificates.
Fees are payable in accordance with Appendix 1 to Section 1 (1) of the General Schedule of Fees of the State of Lower Saxony (AllGO) in accordance with No. 21.6.1.
The costs depend on the time required, but at least 300 €.
Submit an application to the competent authority. The latter will ask them to submit the necessary documents.
If you want to take tests or issue certificates in accordance with the Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance, you must be recognised by the competent authority.
The responsibility lies with the State Labour Inspectorate in Celle.
This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by the municipalities and the state for service providers.
